Shrimp Creole Recipe
Make this delicious shrimp creole in no time flat!
I love these type of dishes where you can have all your ingredients prepared ahead of time and then, voila, you create a meal that tastes like you have been in the kitchen forever. This dish is great when you have a lot of company.
Ingredients 2 tablespoons olive oil2 cups onion, finely chopped1 cup bell pepper, finely chopped1 cup green onions, finely chopped2 cups parsley, finely chopped6 cups tomatoes, chopped and drained1 – 8 ounce can tomato sauce1 tablespoon chopped garlic1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce1 teaspoon cayenne pepper1 cup Chablis wine3 pounds uncooked shrimp,peeled and deveinedDirections Saute onion, bell pepper, green onions, and parsley in olive oil until translucent. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce, garlic, worcestershire sauce. Add salt and pepper. Add wine and stir. Let cook 5 minutes Lower fire to simmer, add shrimp. Cover and let cook for 15-20 minutes. Serve over rice.
