Crab Salad Recipes

I love the versatility of Crab Salad Recipes.

With this one basic recipe, you can make dips, pasta salads as well as fillings for sandwiches.


  • 2 pounds crabmeat
  • 1/4 cup green onions
  • 1/4 cup onions
  • 1/4 cup celery
  • 1/2 cup Hellman's mayonnaise
  • Cajun seasoning to taste
  • Directions

    Finely chop green onions, celery and onions.

    Chop crab meat.

    Mix all remaining ingredients. Chill in refrigerator for 1 hour.


    This is what I call your basic crab salad. With this recipe you can make additional dishes.

    Live a little! Add chopped olives! Imitation crab meat can be used also to create a great imitation crab meat salad recipe.

    Crab Dip
    Increase mayonnaise to 1 cup. Serve with crackers.

    Boil 8 ounces pasta according to package. Drain and cool.

    Add crab salad, 1 boiled egg, and increase mayonnaise to taste. You now have a fantastic crab pasta salad.
